Pluto when translated means “the wealthy one”. He was the Ancient Roman god of mortality and wealth. He is also the god of death and the underworld.

The connection between the underworld and wealth comes from the fact that treasures and valuable minerals are found underground. This being Pluto’s dominion, it places him firmly among the gods that can be called upon to procure financial favors.

We humbly come before you, seeking your divine favor.

Grant us the riches of Croesus, the fabled king of Lydia.

Famed for its wealth and abundance.
